Author : Azoteq Published Time : 2018-11-22
Azoteq IQS62x and IQS680 ProxFusion® Passive Infrared (PIR) Sensors can operate via I2C protocol and enable motion-sensing features for various applications and devices. IQS62x sensors are ideal for mobile, smartphone and lighting applications, rotation sensing and the white goods market. ProxFusion IQS62x ICs integrate multiple sensor technologies onto a single chip. The sensors' advantages over conventional PIR sensing circuitry include raw data output, adjustable sensitivity (gain) via I2C, fewer components, smaller PCB and fewer PCB layers and lower power consumption (less than 6µA). IQS680 Proximity Sensor features metal detection capabilities. IQS680 operates in the standalone mode or via I2C protocol. Applications include lighting and battery-powered PIR sensor solutions and movement detection.
